Having spent her working years in southern California, the client for this project had decided to return to her roots in Newaygo County. Committed to creating a home to welcome her very large extended family, take advantage of the idyllic views, and fit well with the hilly site, the owner settled on a three level house with ample living area for guests at the upper and lower levels. Locating the garage and utility spaces on the back side of the property resulted in views of the lake from all living spaces, with balcony, porch, and deck options at all levels as well.
