Owner Representation

In the era of over-worked and understaffed facilities departments, facility owners often need an expert to assist them in the planning, design, bidding and construction phases of a project. We can provide assistance through coordination and monitoring of all aspects of the project process from the initial selection of design and construction professionals to the final project closeout at the end of construction. As your representative, it is our responsibility to ensure that your interests are protected among a team of diverse stakeholders and interests. We can provide management and consulting services at any stage of the design and construction process.

LEED and Sustainability Consultation

Our Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED) Accredited Professionals are available to guide you through the often confusing world of sustainability. We design every building with the environment in mind and optimize the design to the greatest extent possible through practical design solutions. For those clients that want to pursue LEED certification, we can provide the guidance and expertise required to navigate the certification process. We keep current with the local sustainable community through active participation in the Southwest Michigan Branch of the U.S. Green Building Council and the Southwest Michigan Sustainable Business Forum.

Historic Preservation / Adaptive Reuse Services

Our experience with historic and preservation-worthy structures gives us insight into the reuse of older buildings. We can prepare historic structures reports, detailed structural analysis and facilities use studies. We are familiar with the Department of the Interior Standards for Historic Preservation and can assist with applications for state and federal tax incentives. Our experience with older facilities allows us to see opportunities for re-use where others see problems.
