Gateway Village Apartments

Multi-family Affordable Housing Rehabilitation

This project is a rehabilitation of a 100-unit apartment complex originally constructed in the early 1970’s. InForm Architecture was retained early in the feasibility process to assist in assessing the condition of the residential units and the building exteriors.  Working with the developer and the contractor, we assessed each individual unit and developed the overall scope of the project.

After the project was approved for funding, we developed construction documents use for bidding and municipal review.  The final scope of exterior rehabilitation consists of replacement of windows, siding and repaving all drive and parking areas.  Interior renovations include all new kitchens (with new layouts), new bathrooms and replacement of all interior finishes.

The project was designed under Enterprise Green Communities guidelines and is seeking EGC certification.
