Church Renovation and Addition

Location: Paw Paw, MI

Bursting out of its modest starter facility, this boisterous and welcoming congregation approached InForm for help in designing an expansion that would meet its personality and its reach.  Eager to communicate openness to all, the building committee aimed for a large living room-like gathering space to accommodate comfortable sitting areas, pool and ping-pong tables, and to fill with their tasty tradition of home-baked cookies every single Sunday morning. The gathering space was to connect to a bigger, casual, comfortable, flexible and day-lit worship space with semi-circular seating, and new office space and additional toilets would round out the wish list.

Fund-raising for this ministry-enhancing addition is currently underway. The existing building will continue to be used for classes and meetings, with new child care spaces carved out of the original worship space.  The current “living room” area will be outfitted with cushioned flooring to enable indoor activities for children of all ages.
